The Partnership
Mälardalen University (MDU) is a Swedish university funded in 1977 and known for its focus on applied research and strong collaboration with industry and the public sector. Located in Västerås and Eskilstuna, MDU has about 18,000 students, 55 study programmes, 1000+ courses and 566 teaching staff. MDU offers a range of programs in engineering, education, health, and business, emphasizing practical knowledge and innovation. The university supports sustainable development and digital transformation, contributing to regional growth and global research initiatives.
The Euro Lider is the Polish association which aims to develop human resources, promote lifelong learning, alleviate the risk of unemployment and social exclusion, promote new modern technologies, entrepreneurship and regional development, deliver and create e-learning materials in various areas such as ecology, digital skills, soft skills, career management skills or psychology. Euro Lider realizes its goals through workshops and trainings, organization of various events such as meetings and seminars, business consulting, implementation of allocated national and EU projects, cooperation with public authorities, support of gender equality and promotion of innovation in the field of social, economic and cultural development.
The Center for Education and Innovation (InnovED) is a non-governmental organization, operating in the not-for-profit sector. Established in 2019, the organization has its own identity with a prominent position in Greece.
The main mission of InnovED is the support and promotion of individuals and/or organizations as far as vocational education and training is concerned with sole aim the encouragement and advancement of employability and self-empowerment by innovation fostering educational material, techniques, and methods.
The organizational objectives are based on the creation and development of knowledge and skills through research, practical experience, training, and simulation so as to conclude into contributing to the cultural and economic development of the local community and wider society.
Valencia Inno Hub (Innohub) is a Spanish non-profit organization born with the objective of putting together talent, technology, as well as personal and professional development. It aims is to through actions supporting an innovative and technology creation environment, together with a special focus on disadvantaged society groups and their economic and social inclusion. Innohub believes in the necessity of change in the economic model in order to create a more competitive and value-adding economy, facilitating the necessary tools for our companies and individuals, and in this support of young people to make sure said change is perpetuated in time.
By mentoring and training Innohub wants to generate a positive social impact. Innohub supports young people, entrepreneurs, migrants and individuals from disadvantage groups facing different factors of exclusion: youngsters and adults with educational difficulties, third country nationals, etc. empowering them and building their entrepreneurial and self-employment skills in order to achieve their socio-economic inclusion.
The University of Maribor (UM) is an autonomous scientific, research and educational public institution. With its 17 faculties, the University Library and the Student Dormitories, it is the second largest and the second oldest Slovenian university. The University offers 180 study programs and has enrolled 14,489 students, with 13.77 % of them being international students.
The Department of Research and Arts, who participate in this project, has 34 staff members. The intellectual outputs of the projects will be coordinated by the Faculty of Arts, The International Center for Ecoremediations (ERM Center), one of the research institutions at the Faculty of Arts, co-operates with various national and international institutions from Europe and abroad.
Fønix AS is a Norwegian company primarily focused on labor market services and social integration initiatives. Fønix partners closely with the Norwegian Labor and Welfare Administration (NAV) and other local organizations to provide job training, vocational rehabilitation, and work placement programs. The company’s mission is to help individuals facing employment barriers, including those with disabilities, long-term unemployed, immigrants, and youth, by empowering them with skills and opportunities for meaningful work.
Key services offered by Fønix AS include career counseling, skills training, customized work programs, and employer outreach, all aimed at facilitating sustainable employment. Through these efforts, Fønix AS plays an essential role in Norway’s social inclusion and welfare framework, contributing to economic growth by reducing unemployment and supporting a diverse workforce.
Today, Fønix AS stands as one of Norway’s leading social enterprises, reflecting a commitment to social responsibility and the belief that everyone deserves an opportunity to thrive in the workforce.
Novareckon was born as a spin-off of public research to enhance the encounter between academia and companies, public bodies, the non-profit sector and citizens.
Today it is an innovative SME in full growth, which invests in R&D, hires highly qualified personnel and develops a portfolio of its business projects.
