The Planet Goals Handbook for Educators is designed to strengthen the knowledge and competences of VET educators, trainers and professionals.

The Handbook is divided into two complementary volumes.

Volume 1: Understanding the SDGs

Volume 1 explores the 17 Sustainable Development Goals individually, with each SDG presented as its own chapter.

Each chapter provides accessible educational content, key concepts, challenges, examples, practical guidance, reflection activities and resources that educators can use in their teaching.

Volume 2: Country Reports and Case Studies

Volume 2 brings the SDGs into a real European context through country reports and practical examples from the seven Planet Goals partner countries:

The reports examine national progress, challenges, statistics, policies, good practices and case studies related to the 17 SDGs.

Together, the two volumes help educators move from understanding the SDGs to seeing how they are applied in practice across Europe.

Turn sustainability learning into an interactive experience.

Planet Goals also provides seven interactive workshops designed for VET educators, students and trainees.

Each workshop lasts approximately 45 minutes and combines educational material with quizzes, digital activities and gamified challenges.

The workshops follow a simple learning flow:

Participants explore educational content related to selected SDGs.

02 — Test Your Knowledge

Learners complete quizzes and interactive activities designed to reinforce what they have learned.

03 — Final Challenge

Participants apply their knowledge through a final interactive and competitive activity.

The workshops provide educators with ready-to-use material that can be integrated into lessons, training courses and other VET activities.

A multilingual workshop manual will also support educators in preparing and delivering the activities.
